Mini Nasturtium

Ideal for plant pots or planters. Looks nice and the leaves can also be eaten or used as a garnish. They taste very like Water Cress. In England they flower from Early June to October and longer dependant on weather conditions. Times may be different depending on where you live .

These little Peppers taste excellent and look good in any vessel you wish to plant them in-be it a bucket, Barrow, Planter or Pots.
Unless you live in a very warm area they really need to be started off in the house or heated Green house at about 20 c. Keep them covered with a plastic tray top or if in pots cut the spout of a Plastic Bottle and use that as a mini greenhouse.

As soon as the plants pop up take the cover off or they will get very long and spindley. Put them out when safe to do so-no more frost.
They crop in England roughly between July and October again depending on conditions as the Seasons as we new them seem to be mixed up a bit lately

Assortment of  plants on walls, in Buckets and around pathways in bloom on 24th May 2007. The Passion Flower only started to flower this morning. I did not plant it. It must have been in the roots of one of the Raspberry plants I was given.

The weather although not hot has started to warm a little and things are starting to grow properly again. A walk round the garden this morning shows a few Lillies, Dianthus, Yellow Rose and my first Tomatoes of the season have set

An easy way to help a cutting get roots quickly and increase the number of plants you have.

Put a cutting into a an old jam jar full of water and leave it until you can see the new root system.

Plant it in whatever planter you wish.
